Established in 1998, Tucker-Franklin is a multi-line agency committed to a service-oriented approach. We offer a broad range of insurance products including:

Meet the Tucker-Franklin Staff
S. Cole Tucker, Jr.
Cole is a lifelong resident of Hanover County. He opened Tucker-Franklin Insurance in 1998 after working as an agent with Virginia Farm Bureau. He is a graduate of George Mason University and the University of Richmond. Cole earned the prestigious Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation in 2009, the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2001 and the Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation in 1997. He is actively involved with the Hanover Ruritan Club, the Mechanicsville Businessman Association and his church. Cole serves on the Board of Directors of the Professional Insurance Agents Association (PIA) of Virginia and DC.
He also teaches insurance courses for the National Alliance for Insurance and Education Research.
Rob Grizzard
Rob joined Tucker-Franklin in May 2009. He was previously employed by Horace Mann Insurance and has extensive experience working with educators. Rob specializes in Personal Lines, Life Insurance and has his securities licenses.
Susan Best–Office Administrator
Sue joined Tucker-Franklin in 2002. She brings more than 25 years experience in the insurance industry to the agency. Sue directs incoming calls, responds to customer billing inquiries and collects premium payments. She and her husband also reside in the Mechanicsville area.
Jeannie Powell
Jeannie joined Tucker-Franklin in the summer of 2012. She lives in Powhatan County with her family. She comes to us with a wealth of insurance experience and is happy to assist you with any and all questions. She teaches insurance classes on various topics and has her CISR designation.
